Racoons are adaptable tactile learners and professional problem solvers. They communicate with their peers using over 200 different sounds and keep connected to their community throughout their life time. Kids in this program will be supported in nurturing social connections, challenging physical boundaries and deepening their land-based skill. We will learn about tools, practice big body play and create more complex crafts.

Nature based, permaculture inspired day camp with animal connections, forest adventures, crafts, connection & plenty of play. Limited spots available. For schooled, homeschooled, unschooled young and young at heart.

Ages 4 - 11
Groups are kept small to a ratio of 5:1 students to mentors

Early care & after care available for 30 minutes pre and post camp, for $5 per care, per child.

During this program, children will be supported in taking care of themselves, celebrating their curiosity and imagination and presented with opportunities to develop core land-based memories that will last a lifetime.

Deer are a Crepuscular species, sensitive, with acute eyesight and a keen sense of hearing. A refined palate, they feed on delicate leaves, twigs, acorns & fruits & are an essential part of our local ecology.

In this after school program, we will be expanding our awareness of our local landscape learning about our place in it. We will learn about local edibles, survival skills, challenge our senses and tap into a herd, greater than self, mindset through play, song, craft and conversation
